DRY HIRE RATES
If you're a producer, engineer, or writer, you can hire AUDIOBEACH without an engineer at a great reduced rate. Depending on the type of session you book, you'll get full use of all our great equipment, including our Allen & Heath Desk, outboard racks, mics, and instruments.
*you MUST book in a FULL SUPPORT session if this is your first time dry hiring AUDIOBEACH. After your first dry hire session, you may then book PART SUPPORT sessions. If you are already a trusted AUDIOBEACH client, you may book the PART SUPPORT session ay any time.
You MUST be a member of the Musicians Union and possess a valid PLI certificate in order to Dry Hire AUDIOBEACH. A £200-per-day security deposit is required, via debit or credit card, for sessions lasting 1-2 days, or £500-per-project for 3+ days, which is refunded no longer than 48 hours after your session.
The security deposit protects AUDIOBEACH against any accidental damage to equipment. It is held by iZettle Inc and, once your session has been completed, this will be refunded to you the moment you leave the studio. It will then take 3-5 days for your bank to allow this to appear back in your account.
WHAT YOU GET
RECORDING DRY HIRE
We are proud to offer everything in the studio available to hire. That realLy does mean everything! Our console, our Mac, our outboard, our mics, our instruments, our cables, and our coffee machine!
We're not a "plug-and-play" studio due to the fact that our A/D converters are PCIe based, not USB or FireWire, but we can provide up to 8 line-outs from our console that you can plug in to your own interface. If you wish to record more than 8 channels at once, you can use our MacPro with Logic X or Cubase and bounce the stems out once you have finished.
MIXING DRY HIRE
With mixing, you have full access to our control/mix room with our amazing mixing console, monitors, and outboard. You can mix in the box on our Mac, using Logic X or Cubase, or you can mix on our console. Or you can hook up your own rig to our monitors and mix in the box on a system you're used to.
For a Full Support session, you will have an AUDIOBEACH engineer on site to guide you through how everything works, where everything is, and trouble should any problems immediately. You MUST book a Full Support session if it's your first time dry hiring AUDIOBEACH.
For a Part Support session, you will have booked here before or already be a trusted client. No AUDIOBEACH engineer will be on site, but they will be on call to troubleshoot over the phone.
An AUDIOBEACH engineer will always be there to greet you at the beginning of your session and lock up after you. You should ensure that you are ready to leave, having packed up and cleaned up, by 5pm
